Camp Carnival is a program that is offered to everyone that is planning a Carnival Cruise. As soon as your children come aboard, they'll find a special welcome from the Camp Carnival counselors trained to make sure your children are safe, happy and having the time they will never forget. This program is specifically designed for three age groups and evening baby-sitting is charged.

Children also get their very own menus, featuring all their favorite foods. Hot dogs, chicken nuggets, pizza, macaroni & cheese and spaghetti & meatballs are all available on a Carnival cruise, so even our pint-size guests can feel pampered on their "Fun Ship" family vacation.

Toddlers (2-5)
Camp Carnival's age-appropriate activities are sure to delight all toddlers ages 2-5. From finger painting to cartoon time, arts and crafts to puppet shows, your little ones are sure to have a blast! We even provide babysitting services in the evenings, Toddlers do not have to be potty-trained in order to be part of Camp Carnival; parents simply need to provide the youth staff with diapers and toiletries for their child.

Juniors (6-8)
Junior cruisers ages 6 through 8 will delight in Camp Carnival's fun-filled and age-appropriate activities. From "Make Your Own Sundaes" and spin art, to candy art and movie time, your kids will have the opportunity to participate in fun events and make new friends from all over the world.

Intermediates (9-11)
Young cruisers ages 9 through 11 will delight in Camp Carnival's fun-filled and age-appropriate activities. From "Make Your Own Sundaes" and swim time, to video games and scavenger hunts, your kids will have the opportunity to participate in fun events and make new friends from all over the world. While most of the Camp Carnival activities for this age group are supervised, there will be times when they are divided into teams for a game or other such activities, and will not be accompanied by a member of the youth staff.

Teens (12-14)
If your teen loves to dance, we have great news for them. Every night aboard a Carnival cruise our 12- to 14-year-old guests will have the opportunity to "mix and mingle" at our shipboard dance club from 9:30pm to 10:45pm. After 11:00pm, teens 14 and under can join the youth staff for a variety of activities, such as a late night movie, karaoke or outdoor games.

Teens (15-17)
From the moment they step onboard, Club O2 teens are part of a cruise experience unlike anything else. Every activity and event -- from outdoor activities like: basketball, volleyball, ping pong, pool parties and high-energy dance parties -- has been specially created with 15-17 year-olds in mind.

Club O2 Daytime activities are designed to be a little more relaxed. Teens can hangout with their friends while watching a movie, listening to the latest music, playing video games or joining karaoke jam sessions. We’ve even set up teen-only shore excursions so your young adults can enjoy the sites and sounds of our beautiful ports with their peers.

X-Club
On a Celebrity Cruise, there's so much for your children to do in the X-Club that keeps them engaged and having a great time in an environment designed just for them. A Welcome Aboard Orientation will fill you in on all the details of the X-Club. Plus, you're invited to stop by the Fun Factory with your children on the first day of your sailing for an Open House. They can explore all the possibilities and you can get answers to any questions you may have. You can also go ahead and get them registered for the activities that excite them.

From teen-oriented explorations and entertainment to special opportunities for toddlers and their parents to interact with each other, the X-Club is designed to make sure your children enjoy their Celebrity experience as much as you do. You can even join your children for X-Club Family Events like Karaoke, Family Disco, Bingo and more.

Programs are available year round From 9 a.m. each morning, or half an hour before arriving in each port.

Toddler Time
Children participating in organized X-Club events must be age 3 and fully potty trained. However you can accompany your child to the Fun Factory or any organized activity. Toddler Time is also offered to allow the parents of toddlers and their children to interact with other children their age. The X-Club team will provide suitable toys and products for your toddlers. Please check the X-Club daily program for times and locations. In accordance with USPH policies and standards, Celebrity has provided each vessel with lavatory based changing tables and baby wipes.


Fun Factory
This is where the magic happens and the fun starts. A place exclusively for our junior cruisers. Open from 9:00am until 10:00pm each and every night, entertaining every child and teen onboard the vessel with crafts, games, toys, arcade games, music, karaoke, a ball pit and much much more Come step inside on the first day of the cruise for our Open House, where families can get all the information they need about the X-Club and we plan each junior cruiser's fun-filled vacation.

Holland America offers a Club Hal youth program for kids and teens age 5 to 17. Every ship is administered with a skilled Club HAL Director devoted to make sure children have a good time. Each participant receives a Club HAL t-shirt. An activity schedule for each age group will be delivered to your stateroom each evening. Club Hal offers a dinner menu specially made for kids.

Activities are offered for kids (ages 5-8), Juniors (9-12) and teens (13-17). The program has an open door policy, which means participants may come and go as they please. All activities are supervised; however, the Club HAL Director is not responsible for any child if he/she chooses to leave the activity. Children under five years of age are welcome to participate in the program, as long as an adult accompanies them.

If you are traveling in the Holland America ship Maasdam, Zuiderdam, Oosterdam or Westerdam, the kids have their very own Kids Area and WaveRunner room, filled with computers, video game area, a teen dance floor, and outside play area.

Norwegian Cruise Line's Kid's Crew is a program so kids can stay active and meet other peers onboard. The "Kids Crew" has exceptionally qualified staff of trained counselors run Norwegian Cruise Line’s "Kid’s Crew" program in a safe and secure environment. Children can enjoy treasure hunting while parents enjoy a massage and moments of silence. Norwegian Cruise Line's Kid's Crew™ is specifically designed for four age groups:

Junior Sailors (ages 2 to 5)
Activities for Junior Sailors are now available year-round. Junior Sailors are amused by storytelling, T-shirt painting, arts and crafts, face painting, magic shows, and Circus at Sea. Outdoor and indoor games provide endless hours of fun.

First Mates (ages 6 to 8)
Onboard Norwegian Cruise Line, First Mates participate in decorative T-shirt painting, wacky cooking classes, sing-alongs, and poolside root beer float parties. The "Kid’s Crew" program also coordinates on-shore activities including a treasure hunt and sandcastle building competition on Norwegian Cruise Line’s private island.

Navigators (ages 9 to 12)
Navigators test their skill at Sega and video games, and search for treasures on scavenger hunts. Evenings are filled with pajama parties, movies, and camp-outs with flashlights and tents.

Teens (ages 13 to 17)
Norwegian Cruise Line entertains Teens throughout the daytime and into the evening. By day, Teens enjoy pool parties, volleyball and basketball, The Newly met Game, and trivia contests. Evenings are filled with Norwegian Cruise Line’s Broadway-style shows and spectaculars, line dancing, teen disco, and special theme parties.

Junior cruisers ages 3 to 17 on board a Princess Cruises ship can enjoy a boatload of exciting onboard activities. Our dedicated youth centers are staffed by trained counselors, who are ready to ensure our young sailors stay happy all day long.

Our astounding Teen Centers are packed with Playstation® 2, the latest movies & music, Karaoke, giant screen TVs, card games, board games, ping pong tables and juke boxes. In addition to all these features, on Grand and Golden Princess, teens have a separate Jacuzzi and sun deck area made just for them.

We also offer our teen-age passengers a wide range of activities such as: teens-only dance parties, the Dating Game, T-shirt painting, sports tournaments, Karaoke and talent shows, Casino night, pizza parties, mocktails, hip hop dance classes, and teen dinners.

Please note that the Pacific and Tahitian Princess do not have dedicated Teen Centers.

Royal Caribbean offers a Adventure Ocean Youth Program, specially-designed for kids from 3 to 11, teens from 12 - 14 and guests 15 to 17. The Royal Caribbean kids' menu features all the food that kids love, It's the yummiest kids menu on the ocean!

Each of the Adventure Ocean Staff members holds a four year degree from an accredited College or University in Education, Recreation or related major, and an extensive background in working with large groups of youth ages 3 to 17.

Activities provided for Ages 3 to 11
Adventure Science - Conducted by our specially-trained Adventure Scientists, this program combines fun and hands-on science experiments. Featured programs include: Wacky Water Workshop, Magnetic Mayhem, H2O Thunder Races, Gummy Candies and Bubbling Potions.

Adventure Art - These activities acquaint kids with diverse cultures through art. Children are introduced to the fine art of Japanese fish printing called Gyotaku. Aquanauts also decorate pillowcases, make pet rocks and draw ships for the Captain.

Sail Into Storytime - These theme related storytime sessions bring each story to life with activities, discussions on each story and hands-on activities for the children to participate in following each reading.

Other Games and Theme Activities - Nutty Nicknames, Un-Birthday Party, Cookie Creations, Ice Cream Party, Rock-N-Roll Party, Face Painting, Pirate Night, Talent Show, Country Western Night, Pajama Rama Movie Night and Carnival Night.

Out Island Activities on CocoCay and Labadee - Aquanauts can enjoy Adventure Beach activities on itineraries that call to CocoCay and Labadee. Kids can join the Adventure Ocean Staff and participate in Sand Castle Building, Drip Drip Drop, Adventure Family Water Balloon Toss, Beach Relays, Parachute Games and Tug of War.
